About Us

Chef Dayo (Dah-yo) has always had a love for the art of cooking, but first and foremost she has a love for giving people a sense of family and comfort. Black Love Seasoning was created in 2016 when Chef Dayo was looking for a personalized wedding favor as a way to express her love and thanks to her family as they came together to celebrate her marriage. She wanted to create something that mixed both her Pacific Northwest Roots and her husband’s Miami roots…and Black Love was born!
